Don't disagree with the Brandi pick per se (it was on our big board, just not sure about #2), but it's true that it would be useful to have quoted a few posts to give people the gist of it. Granted, that may take awhile. I may do it later on tonight or tomorrow if bored.

I rarely participate in drafts but I imagine half-assed efforts beget half-assed efforts and that leads to apathy, and this would be a hard thing to redo.

Considering the whole point of this particular draft revolves around actual posts then pretty much every pick should involve a lot of quotes to give flavor, and people can decide from there whether to read the whole thing. Even if like 2-3 picks/day are made, that should be fine.

That thread is only one of like 5-6 1000+ post threads about her, so to be fair a good writeup would have taken hours.

It was awesome at the time but as others have said it is mostly just sad now given the end result.

When Brandi started posting she was this hot chick who was good at poker, fun, normal, and most importantly she was happy to interact with regular joe posters. She seemed perfect and attainable.

Everything was not as it appears and the collective delusion burst in spectacular fashion in the drafted thread.

re SRM- yeah back then even people with now pristine looking reputations thought that protecting online poker against non-regs having any belief that the some of the sites/skins were fraudulent was, in the argot of the time, "+EV". Kinda shocking really
