I was ok with it actually. He was in complete control, only threw 15 pitches. I understand wanting to ride him and also potentially save arms for Sunday.

No hyperbole the combo of no challenge plus no pitching change is one of the worst coaching decisions of all time. Literally flushed 40-50% win equity and challenging was a freeroll.
