I know Ralph Wilson is like 94 years old, but didn't the Bills pass the 'new stadium or off to L.A.' threshold like 10 years ago? That place looks so terrible.

I believe it was "renovate or we're off to LA" and the cash came in because of some Flutie magic.

Its going to be an interesting year to say the least, many people think the Bills are going to go for the #1 pick to grab the elite QB.... I am sure they **** it up of course.

I am very happy they did not go QB this offseason with the lockout, its going to hamper the rookie QBs more than any other position so taking a beast in the first round who can get by on pure strength and athleticism as opposed to knowing a system was a great decision IMO.

They are young team that could be really good in a couple years but they definitely need some help.

QB
Fitzpatrick is a good serviceable QB that can make the right plays but you do not want to lean on him 100%.. in 13 games he went for 3k, 23TDs and 15Ints, easily his best season and they will need a better one to make any kind of leap this year.

Brohm and Brown at backup are eh, still waiting from Brohm to show something but he is 100% bust at this point for sure.

RBs
Fred Jackson is still one of the most underrated RBs in the game, so much that even though he came off a great year 2 years ago they still drafted Spiller. He didnt eclipse 1000 yards but he only carried the rock 222 times as he split some time with Spiller but I am ok with that if Spiller starts to shine.

Spiller needs to step it up and really show why he was drafted so early when he wasnt needed by Buffalo.. a long run of only 20yds is a joke at this point since he is a "speed" back and he needs to improve picking up the blitz and creating on passes out of the backfield in space. I really do not want him to be a wasted pick.

Their backups are no one special and an injury to 1 of the top 2 will really hurt, but its a 2 headed attack in the NFL now so this should let them ease some wear and tear

McIntyre is underrated at FB and he knows his role as a blocker when needed but thats about it

WRs

I really love what the young WRs have done given the opportunity, this could be a huge strength for them if they ever get that elite QB.

Stevie Johnson had a breakout year even with Evans missing time he still made some plays and 82/1073/10 needs to be the norm for him and not just a 1 off please.

Evans as always needs to do what we always hope he will and thats to ****ing play like a #1 WR, he didnt do it opposite TO when he was given space and now he has Stevie taking up the double team at times so he needs to be utilized AND produce when given the chance otherwise go with the youth movement and unload him.

David Nelson showed a little late and needs to lock down a #3 role since Parrish needs to be used sparingly and in the perfect situations, but overall I am content with our top 4 and that doesnt include a guy like Easley they loved last year coming off an injury that cost him the year...

TEs

Maybe if Shawn Nelson could stay healthy this position wouldnt be so awful, but unless he turns it around and stays healthy its going to be a rough spot. I suspect they will target an upgrade in FA but the only one worth anything is Miller and no way he leaves the Raiders so its gotta be homegrown IMO. They had less than 30receptions out of their TEs last year and that makes it pretty easy on the Defense so they need a big change here.

OL

Oh the hate for this Oline but I will say at least for the first time in a while they are returning most of the starters...

Bell isnt breaking down the doors to become an all pro and they are constantly trying to replace him and I would love for them to sign a guy like Gaither to lock it down and move Bell to RT which would improve the line a lot.

Levitre is locked in at LG and it looks like Wood may move to C from RG leaving Hangartner as the odd man out, not sure their intentions at RG then and at RT aside from Wrotto so as usual the OLine is in total flux and needs to be fixed ASAP if they plan on doing anything

while I was posting this Poszlusny signed with Jacksonville, but I am saving my D thoughts for another day

Something like that...

...Buffalo will not move, mark my word... Golisano has stated he will buy the team if once Wilson dies it comes down to that, plus Jim Kelly has a group in place tentatively and may even be a part of a Golisano purchase.

I wish Terry Pegula was a huge Football fan

I also dont see any issue with the Stadium, it has the luxury seating needed.. the sight lines are good, they have the fieldhouse next door for all the extracurricular fun type stuff people clamor for. It may be old but I liked it way more than Qualcomm when I was there but of course I am biased.

They better never get a ****ing dome either

Poz to the Jags eh? Well, in one sense it's not a big loss but in the other sense they actually do have to field a MLB. Will be interesting to see what they do.

And yes GG, oh how I wish Pegula was a Bills fan.

6 yr deal plus Jax runs a pure 4-3 where he excels, he was mediocre in the 3-4 and only improved once they ran the hybrid at the end of the year

I have yet to see him "excel" in any D ranging from a 1-10 to a 10-1. Just sayin.

First time I've seen that. Blue endzones - a nice touch. The green was a forgettable era.

How much do Bills fans rule? An awful team already dominating this thread. Christ, no team in pro sports deserves to rungood more.
