Yeah but the first one wasn't his fault. Everyone knows once you draw a gun you can't reholster it until it draws blood.

Why would anyone shoot a guy a mile from his house, leave the body in plain sight, leave the car there, and then just go home? Supposedly Hernandez doesn't even drive that car, it's one of several rentals.

Seems much more plausible that one of Herndandez' posse drove one of his rental cars from the house to the industrial park for a drug deal, deal goes bad, dude gets shot, shooters drive off. At least, that's best case scenario...

How do you get shot by a guy, lose an eye, and only sue for $100k?

To me, the most surprising part of this story: 23 year olds can rent cars. I guess that 25 year minimum is just an old wives tale?

As a Patriot fan, I would have ranked him 2nd on the team in Most Likely to Murder, after Brandon Spikes. The guys touchdown dance is a strip club move for god's sake.

Brandon Spikes may have already murdered. We don't know.

Personnel sources from multiple NFL teams tell SI that they had off-field concerns about Hernandez. In particular, the questions pertained to alleged gang activity of some of Hernandez's associates in his native Bristol, Conn. A law enforcement official familiar with Hernandez reiterated concerns about his circle of influence.

Also, nice wiki update. Was this written by an 8 year old?

"Currently being questioned on a murder of an associate. Dead person was found near Mr. Hernandez home. A a 2013 Chevy SUV is linked to the crime. The vehicle was rented to the NFL player Mr. Hernandez."
