going solely by this post, I'm 99% sure you'd never just happen across either one of these two people.

Cops generally refer to cases like these as a "two-fer"

Anyone watch he CNN profile of AH last night? He supposedly a clean cut guy growing up in CT playing hard at a few sports. I didn't see the end - what turned him to a thug?

His father died when he was 17.

That has been the narrative. I didn't watch the show.

CNN was talking about what AH will face in prison. They said it's a very secure prison but that opiates smuggled in is a problem. How are opiates smuggled into a prison? Is it something where the guards look the other way because they don't care if someone gets high or whatever?

A lot of non-prisoners come into and out of prison each day, and its impossible to perfectly search all of them. Plus, some guards may be on the take.

This is not why they did that.

Prison guards are paid poorly.

Obviously I repeated it because now it's real. And because I maintain it's a better thread subtitle than a gay rape joke.

If he changes it then I stop receiving my $0.13 royalty checks each week. Bout Dat Life Sentence would be a good switch, though, now that it's real.

It seems to me like the defense never presented anything that showed he didn't actually do it, rather than simply "you can't prove he did it", which is understandable, but then, why admit he was there? And if you're going to say he was there, but somehow not involved, I think you've gotta come up with an explanation of how he wasn't involved, which to me, might mean putting him on the stand?

That's all they need to do tho. Burden of proof is on the state, etc. etc.

They probably felt like they had to admit he was there because the evidence that he was was so overwhelming. Even still, if they put him on the stand, he has to explain why he took the killer(s) of his friends home and hung out with them for a few days and never reported what happened.

He was ****ed every way from the weekend, there weren't any wins here.
