So crazy especially since I kept reading all these articles about how he loved prison. He really did probably think that court case was way out.

I wouldn't be surprised if both apply to someone as intelligent as Aaron Hernandez.

So hilarious people are tap dancing around how this should be reported. Seems pretty straightforward. A convicted murderer serving a life sentence who happened to play football killed himself

I'm just reading tea leaves but I'm guessing somebody killed him. All reports are that he was upbeat and actually had a chance of beating his single murder charge. for him to kill himself now seems very odd.

bigger issue is he had it coming.

Door was barricaded in a way that him being killed and the killer barricading from the outside would be impressively difficult

Hernandez told people he was upset about the mandatory 5 year sentence for the gun charge, so even if he got off again he knew he wasn't walking out that day.

Loophole in Mass law means conviction is thrown out (I think since on appeal) and Hernandez dies a free (innocent) man.

Can't use evidence from criminal trial against him in civil court and probably means his family stands to collect some otherwise lost money.

LOLBoston as always.

Majority of states do the same thing.

Eta: no idea if family stands to gain anything. Seems doubtful.

Sort of eerie, as if McPhee was reading 2+2 before heading to that radio station. Also, there is this:

There is a facebook page titled “Gay Men for Aaron Hernandez” and the posted the following this past December:

Welcome to all the new supporters of the Gay Men for Aaron Hernandez page. The outpouring of love from Aaron's gay supporters is inspiring.

Please send Aaron a Christmas card and let him know we all support him in his struggle to accept his gay sexuality. AARON WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU: - Aaron Hernandez # W106228 Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center P.O. Box 8000 Shirley, MA 01464
Do you think she came up with that "Tight end to wide receiver" joke herself?
