After tense contract extension negotiations and a lengthy training camp holdout, I am pleased to announce that our beloved NFL Swami Mod has received a record-smashing deal which will put him back in action just in time for Week 1 of our beloved Swami Season!

So without further ado, I'd like to officially welcome all to the
8th ANNUAL NFL SWAMI SEASON!!!

Many thanks to our hall of fame mod Searix for his years of service! And congrats to the 7 previous winners, I'd list you all but I'm not because I'm jealous of your success at this sort of thing.



Oh right, the rules. Knew I was forgetting to plagiarize something.

-Game of the Week: The winner of the previous week's Swami picks a "Game of the week" where points are increased. Because it's week 1, I'm making an executive decision for this week.
-Games are scored as if you wagered $500 spread across all the games. Games are normally $30 a piece, GOTWs 50, but this will go up and down to meet the $500 target (due to byes etc).
-Odds are sourced from Vegas Insider's VI Consensus
-If you don't play a week, you get the average of $500 and lowest bot (~roughly $300ish) for that week. Not playing cannot help you.
-Entries received between Kickoff Thursday and End of Halftime Thursday will use the halftime loser. Entries received after Thursday Halftime and before Sunday @ 1PM will use the Thursday loser.
