The Hill/DC dynamic changed at the deadline when the Pacers brought in Barbosa.

Pre deadline, Hill backed up at the 2 guard and AJ Price backed up at point.

Post deadline, Hill backs up DC at the point and Barbosa comes in to play the 2.

Since Barbosa started playing for the Pacers, Price has gone from getting 15+ mpg to basically nil. Hes been in 2 blowouts, and got in for the last few seconds of a loss where Hill fouled out and they needed five 3-point shooters on the floor. Kind of a tough break for AJ since he was just starting to play well before that, but its clearly made the Pacers a better team.

Also, it used to be that when I'd get to work I might catch DC coming in from the players garage in street clothes (common for all the starters and rotation players). Ever since the deadline acquisition of Barbosa he has been out on the court taking extra practice when I get to the field house, which is usually just the end of the bench guys like Pendergraph, Stevenson etc.
DC knows he has competition for the starting job, and he seems willing go the extra mile to keep his spot as long as he can.

Barnes has blown 2 nice passes from Sesh, where he would've had a layup, and that long lob at the end of 3rd from Kobe, where he had a bunny layup to beat the clock.

Nets have been doubling/switching this whole 2nd H, and LA hasn't found a way to deal with it. Completely went away from Pau too in this half. He's had like 4pts, to his 18 in the 1st H.

Oh, and "a bunch of ****" = "we have two very winnable games". That's all he said. Obviously, this is ludicrous, since if you ask Knicks fans, they are the "Best 27-27 team EVAR!" (lolz)

In other words, Novak and his straight-up-jacked celebration can kindly gtfo

ohhh btw, 32-21>27-27, amiright? So if the Pacers are ****ty, then the Knacks are ... ultra-****ty? mega-****ty? I dunno, you tell me

In years past I'd agree, but they are better this year here.

btw is george hill always in in these crunch time situations? i haven't actually watched that many pacers situations, he is clearly a better option than DC but i always thought DC was the "starter"
Hill might be better overall, but he is sure as hell NOT a point guard.

DC's not a great one either, but still

If the Pacers had a distributing point, you'd maybe be right.

Many Pacers fans wanted Hill to start over DC (past tense as that has quickly dissipated after a few 2/2/1 games from Hill). They were wrong.

How much would you like to wager that the Pacers win more playoff games than the Knacks?

(assuming they can hold off the almighty Bucks for the 8 spot ofc)
