Just for fun at 52 and 51 since those are the two players I tried my hardest to squeeze into the top 50 at the last moment but fell just short. I feel like they really should be there though:
Luis Suarez - Ajax who I've realized since the original list was made is a much better athlete than I thought.
The guy is really strong and agile. That on top of his other talents have meant a good jump up the list.
and Sami Khedira - Real Madrid who doesn't even get to show what he can really do at Real Madrid but is as solid as they come. Also became very very strong in the last year so.

Ok it became two hated players instead of just one. The Man U one is the more hated btw. Does anyone really like him? Am I still ranking him too low? Possibly...
48: Robin Van Persie
You just forget how good he really is when he is always injured. Hasn't really done anything this season which could soon hurt his ranking even more. But at his best an excellent attacking player.
47: Nani
Having a great season. Great pace. Importantly with the ball too not least. Skills when dribbling or kicking it. Works really hard also despite an attitude that might not indicate it.
48: Robin Van Persie

Wow I somehow deleted my Banega post.
I think it went something like this:

I swear I think even Maradona's version of Argetina would have had a good chance of winning the World Cup had they just added Banega in time. He looks like a starter now but he already superb last season.
At his best he is one of the best midfield ball distributors in the world.
He has seen his form dip some so far this season and there have also been bad habits resurfacing like missing training. Will drop if he doesn't find consistency soon again.

I think Diego was definitely top 30 back when this all started over a year ago now.
In some ways I think he has actually been playing well that entire time but it's just getting harder and harder to ignore teams, he is undoubtedly leading, always struggling.
