I believe that's #1 three Olympics running

Sucks that they cram so much into 2 weeks. I'd watch so many more events if they extended it to 4 or 6 weeks. Would that length of time even be feasible?

USA population 325m, 39 golds 113 medals

GB population 60m, 22 golds 66 medals

Straya population 25m 17 golds 46 medals

New Zealand population 5m, 7 golds 20 medals

Who had the best Olympics?

Looks like none of the people who ran the mixed one for USA ran the finals in either men's or women's, so I guess not that odd when the B squad gets to run in the mixed.

No idea what the reasoning is. The super packed schedule is both good and bad. You're guaranteed constant action but you're also guaranteed to miss the vast majority of the action.

Nice closing ceremony. Great Olympics overall, especially considering the COVID circumstances.

indeed (over 28% more medals than our nearest competitor. we dominated Tokyo 2020).

3 more years of using USA#1 on 2+2 until Paris comes around.

Lol such naivety itt. The olympics have only just started, we now spend the next 8 years catching drugs cheats and re-awarding medals accordingly.

Usa a significant dog to win the olympics given the long &shameful history of drug offenses in that country

The country with the most medals. If you weight it by medals / population that isn't obese USA is even further ahead.

this.

what USA#1 accomplished these past two weeks in Tokyo is even more impressive when you consider the sheer number of obese fire breathing ogres that call America home.

You’re right.

The 50% of morbidly obese munters with raw chafings on their thighs only leaves 160million able bodied people to compete for Olympic spots

I think Bryce Deadmon ran in both, but your point still stands.

EDIT: Looks like Deadmon was used in the qualifying heat, but not the finals.
