Except for drafting Jordan Davis, Jalen Carter, and Cam Jurgens? Even Dickerson and Steen played C in college. Although I always thought Dickerson would shift to RT to replace Lane.

This one will be an interesting follow among the media football nerds. Paying a vet RB is generally eye rolled but Howie gets his nuts slurped constantly by them
Seems like a lot to pay for an RB2

Love hearing some talking heads say Russ may not be the starter Week 1

"Huge" is relative in a market where Robert Hunt gets 5/100/63.

I don't want to quote myself, but even Needle criticized Kelce this year. The DL still has an underrated Milton Williams and Josh Sweat who they are trying to trade before paying him.

I am much more worried about the DBs.

the Minshew comp will be interesting.

now that Kirk, Baker and Minshew are gone and assuming the top 3 teams in the draft take QBs, the teams without any coherent QB plan right now are really only the Vikings and Broncos

But then I'd also think/hope that the Steelers, Browns, Titans and Giants are still active at QB

not sure how many Fields suitors there are, unless maybe the Vikings go after him?

Minshew 2/25-15

Happy for him that he’s got some decent $$

I would assume the titans for now are committed to miracle whip. Browns are catastrophically ****ed and really have no choice but Watson. Stealers are committed for now and I don’t expect they go looking for a qb except for the middle rounds of the draft

Vikings are an interesting fit for fields and I feel should be the frontrunner. Giants….eh. If you’re trading for fields it’s cuz you’ve given up on Jones which seems like a terrible look given the extension and how marginal fields is. If they both suck you’re fired

Boncos are just a bunch of idiots

goddammit, now I'm a flippin' Raiders fan.

I guess that makes him the most successful graduate of my kid's HS graduating class. Nobody could have predicted that.

Reports are he's pretty tight with a buck, so he'll have more time to focus on the other important vices.

sorry Tarheels but total franchise incompetence incoming

at the 2022 trade deadline, the Panthers turned down 2x1s and a 3 from the Rams for Brian Burns

instead they kept him around for a 2 win season, didn't sign him to a long term deal despite having almost no franchise players in the building and then let him go for a 2 and a 5 to the Giants

no wonder your team is ****

in the last 2 seasons the Panthers have traded away their 3 best players - McCaffrey, Moore and Burns

Maybe Jaycee Horn is next?

I feel confident at this point that every post about the panthers should be preceded and/or concluded with ‘sorry heels’

sorry Heels, but your team's cap chart is really quite grim

https://overthecap.com/salary-cap/carolina-panthers

with Burns going and minus any moves made today, your team has just over $30m in cap space and almost no difference makers

Basically the worst roster in the league.
