Nice to see the Jags finally have a decent QB now.

I’m definitely curious what cousins’ ultimate motivation will be knowing full well he’s getting 50 mil per no matter where he goes whether it’s money and comfort of the viability of a ring

If it’s the former ya, minnesota, Vegas or atlanta are the options

If it’s the latter…Pittsburgh? Maybe the pats?

Actually now that I say all this out loud he should go to atlanta or vegas

"Prime time Kirk" might skew our view of him as somebody going for a ring.

Netflix Quarterbacks was obviously heavily edited and made to fit the narrative of Mahomes as a winner but I thought it was striking that he showed the trophy case in his new house for stuff like MVPs and Super Bowl trophies while Cousins presented the game balls in his room.

lol, clickbait headline on ESPN.com: "Trade grades: Is this really all the Patriots could get for Mac Jones?"

I don't even know what the Jags gave up, but if was anything more than a #2 pencil, a used chapstick and the loose change in Shad Khan's couch they paid too much.

It’s kinda wild at how thoroughly this became the most overrated draft class of all time

Jones: traded for a 6th
Fields: nobody wants him, teams are saying why trade for him when I can sign Darnold
Lance: traded for a 4th
Wilson: nobody wants him. Buffoon
Lawrence: probably sucks but is the only one with a job

no question you had him marked from the start
how much you must struggle rooting for him anyway

It’s gonna suck when Bork outs himself

Iowa by way of Arizona, super religious and a member of focus on the family?

Let’s just say sometimes CTE doesn’t bother me

lol Bucs. Congrats getting a league average QB at best for the next 3 years. Someone performing above expectations doesn't mean they were actually good. But I mean, I guess if you can't win the SB anyway, why not?

Baker Mayfield 3/100-50.

I don't mind it for both sides. It's basically the Geno Smith deal + 20%. Similar deal, similar QB

It's really 2/60 because they'll either cut him or extend him after 2 seasons. It doesn't preclude the Bucs from drafting/developing a QB.

I'm sure Baker might have got more elsewhere if he hit the market but he gets some stability and decent receivers and the chance to double down on what he did last year in a weak division

Baker deal seems fine. You basically have him as long as you have evans and it’s not like you were going to get a qb that makes you any better

They definitely will need to draft a qb in the next 2 years to replace him but still

9ers to cut Arik Armstead. Only saves them something substantial if they do it post June 1

guessing they might be PRing the upcoming 'cut' in case it stimulates a trade instead?

Kendrick Bourne 3-$33m deal is actually 3-$19.5 with 4.5m per year of incentives, which seems far more reasonable

Not surprised. Expecting juice to get cut too. The former I can live with, the latter will bum me the **** out

I would be utterly depressed if I was a Stealers fan tho if that was all the Stealers are doing at QB. If they've signed him to compete as a backup then great...but if that's it...it would be sickening

PIT opened 75:1 to win SB, they are now 46:1 @ pinnacle.

How much Russ had to do with that I don't know.

They are still longest shot in their division, but CLE will probably find a way to get to the bottom.

Who do you think they should get? Kirk Cousins coming off surgery at $40mil a year? Jimmy G? There is nothing out there.

Out of curiosity I checked a couple Steelers communities. Sounds like fans are extremely happy about the deal.

Chris Jones contract numbers are out. 2024 cap hit is only $7.35 mil. As expected the out is after year 3 with only $12mil in dead money at that point.

What trade compensation do the Bengals expect for Tee Higgins?

will Tee be traded? nobody knows. today's announcement by his team is simply the opening salvo of the dance

if he's eventually moved, surely CIN would be able to land a top 50 pick in this year's draft for him
