I think last night was the second time in 50+ years that I outright forgot a Monday Night Football game was going. Maybe it was election stuff.

One other memorable Monday night I got the wrong final score. I wasn't watching that night much and when I checked in they were walking off the field with helmet off, and I thought it had to be over. I wrote down the score on the board then. I think it was the Indy Colts with that Jeff somebody gunslinger. But apparently what I saw was the two minute warning break. And the Colts scored two touchdowns in the last 2 minutes. It made every side bet wrong the way I figured it. After I tried to clear that up, I realized it also flipped every O/U bet. What a mess that was. I was pretty new then and worried about getting axed over it.
