I give Fried a long leash.

He was inexplicably terrible for several consecutive starts in the playoffs, after he had put together his best regular season yet.

My Atlanta friends who are casual Braves fans were like, “Why are we starting this bum in the World Series?” And I’d tell them, no, he’s actually really good, just trust me. And then the Braves shipped, and he was great.

Which is my long way of saying that he’s really bad sometimes, for longer than I’d like. But his overall body of work, and my faith in him, is really strong. Even if he looked pretty bad today.

My Blue jays are going to have an interesting year. I wonder at what point the owners blow up everything...

They can't hit for power or average, and they decided the best way to address that was to acquire about 6 light hitting utility infielders in the off season.

The pitching may come around, but they will never hit. Never..

I thought I saw Teo Hernandez and Lourdes on some leaderboards... oh nevermind. Also, that brilliant signing of power first leadoff hitter, who can't run the bases didn't work out well.
I did bet on them winning the WS the past 3 seasons, so maybe it was my fault.

the only starting pitcher the Sacramento A's have that is capable of winning a game is paul blackburn so this computes. proof is below:

A's starting any pitcher other than paul blackburn * wins = 0
