How kmag escaped a penalty there is beyond me. That guy has a race ban coming like nobody ever before, so just give it to him or abolish the system.

If it were up to me, all street races would be removed from the calendar (incl Monaco obv) and only real circuits would be in there. Unfortunately, money disagrees with me.

Plenty of 'real' circuits that suck. I am happy with the current mix except for Monaco which is the only one where passing is impossible even with DRS and fresh tires versus 40 lap old mediums.

Ocon only has himself to blame if he doesn't have a seat next year. Just no awareness on how to race team mates especially at the start. Not that driving for Alpine is any fun though.

Ocon is still a good driver though. If he is paired with a rookie, that he comfortably outdrives, he can be a valuable asset to a team like Haas.

The only rookies really being considered by the teams are Bearman and Antonelli. Ocon is not comfortably outdriving either of those two.

Tbh Ocon was gone before he punted Gasly. But I never rated him and he shouldn't find a seat elsewhere. He should go to Formula E.

One more year for Checo at RB.

Sainz can scratch that one off his list. I would have liked Carlos to take that seat, as we already know what it looks like to have Checo there (mediocrity)

It is even worse than that according to several reports. Checo got a proper 2 year deal not even a 1+1. He must be bringing in a lot of money that RedBull needs for their engine project and new wind tunnel.

Checo brings in a metric ton of money and outsells Max 2 to 1 in merch. It's nothing more than that. His results have been miserable and it sucks that we won't get a driver that could compete a bit more with Max. Sainz would've been amazing.

Netherlands is tiny, Max isn't very likeable, and Latin America buys a ton of F1 stuff and most will be Checo. Mexico alone accounts for 65% of Red Bull's online merch sales.
