As great as FPI is, though, there are factors it doesn't consider, so I reserve the right to stray from the strict formula as necessary.
Him reserving the right to stray from the "strict formula" leads to the following:
2. AFC NORTH
FPI ratings (6.4 overall):
Cincinnati Bengals: 4.6 (4th in NFL)
Baltimore Ravens: 2.0 (10th)
Cleveland Browns: 0.2 (17th)
Pittsburgh Steelers: minus-0.4 (19th)
3. AFC WEST
FPI ratings (9.7 overall):
Kansas City Chiefs: 6.4 (1st in NFL)
Los Angeles Chargers: 3.0 (7th)
Denver Broncos: 0.9 (13th)
Las Vegas Raiders: minus-0.6 (20th)
I wouldn't even object if it was his strictly subjective list or about entertainment value. But using FPI as your base is just stupid if you want to come up with a list like that.
