Went to Red Sox at Padres Friday. Sox James Paxton looked good, hit 97, was 95 all night, big leftie. And speaking of, Sale last night also hitting 97...they got to like seeing him throwing that hard, gave up 2 in 7in, 8 SO's.

Might go to more games, only sport in SD these days ( although SD did announce they will be the 30th MLS team in 2025.) Cheap seats for Cleveland Guardians in June...$22. Tax, ticket master probably = $30 or so. Sox cheapest were $55 plus. I went ahead and spent more for each of 2 tix, wanted to sit closer, but f'd it up, was right in front of stairs, people walking up and down to get to section. So, something to watch out for.

I really liked the pace of the game. I know it's still something players and fans are getting used to, but it's in the best interest of bb.

it's great.
i'm fine with long games.
some 10-9 game takes a while I'm not leaving.

18 inning games were rare but I loved them.
I was thrilled there were 2 18 inning playoff games last year.

6-2 games taking 3.5-4 hours bc nobody wants to get into the box or throw the ball- intolerable.
