Late in the game when the As brought in a position player to pitch, the player that hit before Adolis never swung and let the guy strike him out. Adolis up next took 2 strikes as well without swinging and then he was like, I'm 4 for 4 with 3 home runs, a walk and a hit by pitch. Just couldn't help himself and rips a double down the 3rd base line on the next pitch.

Next guy up makes an out to end the inning and Adolis goes over to the pitcher and apologizes. They both had a good laugh. I don't think Adolis has a mean bone in his body. He just couldn't help himself.

And needing to go back-to-back-to-back versus a Jordan Lyles in the 6th iirc to eek out a 4-3 win in the game you didn't allow 11 runs to two of the worst lineups in baseball

Taylor Ward, Trout and Ohtani

Then last night, somehow they combined to go 2 for 15 with 2 runs scored no rbi

Mets are screwed.

Mad Max is all mad and no skill now.

Verlander gives up back to back homers in 1st inning with his first start back. Mets lose all 3 games vs Detroit. You can literally buy a house for the price of a VCR there. And they lose all 3 to them. Just pathetic.
