Judge missed 2 months of the season and Boone is a living breathing muppet of a manager. Combine those 2 things and well.. you're in last place in the divison.

stacked? they've had games with ikf hitting 5th with judge in the lineup and besides Cole their starters have an era around 6.

Another 450-foot tracer to open the game from Acuna. It's really one of the greatest offensive seasons of the post-Bonds era. He's going to end up with 40 Hrs, 70 SBs (with insane efficiency), and a .334 batting average that is fully supported by advanced metrics. Prior to this year, Acuna never had a contact % above 73%. This year, his contact % is 87%. That's an insane jump, almost unfathomable.

And the night before, he hit a perfect pitcher's pitch for a HR to right center. You could easily watch 150 major league games without seeing a hitter go yard on a breaking pitch in that location.

I've always liked following doubles stats. Freddie Freeman is having a special season bidding to reach the super rare #60. No one has reached 60 since the '30s. Also he leads the league seemingly by a pretty bizarre amount, 16 currently, gotta wonder how rare that amount of separation is in terms of doubles league leaders in history.
