Never paid Amazon for assembly and am curious about the details.

But in similar instances I would tip $10 or $20 if they were extremely efficient, didn't make a mess, explained anything I needed to know but didn't, carted off any crap they left behind or anything being replaced, etc.

If they come in grumpy just to do a job and don't add much value, then no.

But that's just what I do. Not making tipping recommendations for anybody not related to me.
