my dream summer:

Swap deal ings for bissouma and some ££. brighton need a striker.
sign suarez so we can get the gang back together and play backup to watkins and archer.
sign richarlison because why the fk not this is a dream. They need money and cant see elite team coming for him. (maybe milan might?)
sign bassey because we need someone to push mings and can cover lb
will probably be selling luiz to roma.
Sell konsa

4231

Emi

cash - carlos - mings - digne

- Bissouma - Kamara -

Buendia - Coutinho - richarlison

- watkins -

subs:

mcginn + ramsay + bassey + chambers + saurez + archer + bailey.

We had approx 200m ffp due to grealish money so get it done. 5 subs so the bench gets plenty of game time.

Also alonso as assistent manager because we really are turning to ex-plop fc (beale gne)

He played mainly in the cups. He improved as he went on, Fabianski is now declining. I suspect we will keep him.

Would like to see him settle somewhere, he's travelled enough.

Some smoke about Ekitike to Newcastle for 36M€+10, he has quite a weird profile being tall and very skinny with a super nice touch/technique.

crazy how badly whu wanted to buy lingaard who mun absolutely refused to sell only to start twice and let his contract expire

i'm still not too used to this, but why not sell those two now? is it that there's no market for them because the contracts about to expire so they'd still have to compete against other clubs to sign them even if they did the transfer anyway or is it against the rules to transfer this late into a contract, or they tried to sell during last window and couldn't find a buyer, etc etc

it doesn't seem like many soccer players want to "test free agency" it seems like their management team and team owners get $ from transfer fees but they don't, so why wouldn't they just hold out each time and do free agency

Not many buyers today for something that’s free tomorrow.

The player could just demand the fee as a bonus to himself. Seems much better for them.

HTIC Sevens put out a good video a few days ago talking about this.

It is more on the side of why players are running down their contracts more than from the clubs side of things

Great signing, feels like a 2 for 1 transfer since Marcelo will now be replaced by Alaba

Not a bad backup for you. He's poor with his feet, but a well above average shot stopped.

Basically Hugo but English then. Makes sense for us to get a homegrown quota-filling backup keeper (makes sense for every club really). Has to be better than Gollini too.

They're both going to be 50 soon, are PSG that desperate to replace the likes of Herrera and Wijnaldum?

I love Nasser's strategy of leaking legit infos to some unemployed dude named Sabri and leaking a bunch of trash to L'Equipe, RMC and Fabrizio Romano.

I think RM's account got hacked, there's no way he rejected PSG's project for this broke, old and done club.

That's a wise proverb and yeah, Real Madrid have to be careful not to go broke, because they have to earn their money legally, respecting the rules and doing great on the football field. They're not backed by Qatar, for example.

You keep insisting on this going broke thing and I don't where you got this fantasy from. You do know Real Madrid is probably the best financially run club in Europe, right? These are facts, not my opinion. Let me try again: Real Madrid have no immediate debt whatsoever, zero. Their salary cap is hundreds of millions away from being topped up, last year they had 122m cash in treasury and 534m in equity, an open credit line worth half of a billion which remains untouched to this day. The new stadium needs to be paid in almost 30 years time and is expected to generate over 1 billion/year in revenue. Not only RM are very, very far away from financial problems, but they're about to enter their yet richest era so far.

UEFA gave RM 132m for winning their 14th CL, they are still left with some of that after buying Tchouameni. Look, this is how it's done.

That's great, but RM, Mbappe and Liverpool don't think he's good, they think he's a generational talent.

You don't sound bitter at all, bro. A few days ago you were salivating over him. Just like you did over Camavinga last year. I remember you saying last year how hard it will be for RM to replace KCM (as if that's possible) and how bad the team will struggle with this aging midfield. Well, we won the double and we now have Camavinga, Valverde and Tchouameni, too. They're not exactly the likes of Herrera, Danilo and Wijnaldum, but we're trying.

I told you last year, about 1/10 young and talented players are absolute mercenaries and will choose PSG over any legit, historical club. Let's see how your "project" looks like after this summer, especially now since PSG "made RM panic" and spent so much money on Tchouameni, which means your real targets are clear now, right?
