The Phillies sign a SS, keep Segura for another year, and call up Painter (and/or others) mid-season. They still won't be favorites, but that's a pretty good team.

I don’t know what he’ll eventually get, but Trea Turner shouldn’t get twice as much as some have predicted.

Can’t fault the guy for finding out what he’s worth…. I have to think the Braves make a legit offer with the pitch that this core is young, good, and staying together for the rest of his prime.

I fully expect a judge contract to be disgusting but the giants have been so utterly unwatchable that I’m willing to put up with it just for there to be a draw even if there’s 4 or 5 years of unplayability

How many people of the opinion that despite Aaron Judge seeming to be one of the nicest guys in baseball, that the team that signs him is going to regret the amount per year and duration.

It just seems that everyone is giddy and not factoring career year/age/ size of body and wear and tear, bat slowing down, etc..

I get how the Yankees think they can't afford NOT to sign him, but they can.

Am puzzled by the Giants or any team being interested at the duration and $ per year being tossed around. The quality of 2 players you could get for that money at less risk is pretty high.
