Not sure I see the Bayern-Islanders comparison- part of the reason of rooting for the Isles is that they're in the "formed big name team fallen on hard times" mold. I guess you could call the Bruins and Isles geographical rivals due to east coast, but Bruins-Islanders just isn't a rivalry. They haven't played in the same division in ages and both have bigger rivals to worry about.

Not sure about Vgk, i just hate Ryan Reaves lol. Also again, Isles fans have gone through so much **** for nearly three decades while Vegas has known nothing but good times.

I wonder what best result for Gary and the NHL is for finals. I'm of the belief it probably doesn't matter at all. Any good sources out there about how Montreal vs Vegas vs NYI vs TB would drive revenue/awareness for the league?
