A difference between Edmonton and Montreal is Edmonton takes a quarter of a second longer when they decide to take a shot. It seems to make a big difference. Any longer and the defender would be on it.

Playing only Canadian teams this year, there still is one missing team. It just wont be complete without them.

They need to give the Jets a couple more games each year against each Canadian team.

this wpg/mtl game is one of the worst games I've seen in ages

one team gets it, moves it forward and dumps it in and changes lines, other side gets it, goes on the forecheck and dumps it in to change lines

rinse and repeat, most cautious pussy foot game i've seen played all year by a long margin, amazing they somehow have 6 goals here

i thought the Habs looked good vs jets...down 3-1. won 5-3. Outshot them 34-22 or w/e. I have been watching the worst hockey ever for the last month. Maybe it's just in comparison.

Nashville and Dallas fans. But also it makes games between the two more interesting (though they’re still rather unwatchable)...I don’t know, I’m in a “find reasons to see good” vs. “keep looking at obvious bad” here if you couldn’t tell.

In the 1-8 format the seeding races were fairly compelling, divsion+wildcard a bit less so, now with straight division playoffs, basically no home ice advantage and all playoff matchups already being played out from the regular season, it's just a slog

Det looked abysmal and TB the lockest of mortal locks until that zadina one-timer, then det actually got some zone-time. Pretty good bet even at that price it looks like lol.
