Read something about them wanting to separate players off the court because they believe on the court, players don't spend enough time breathing on each other uninterruptedly for transmission. Even if that's true, hockey players right next to each other on the bench for two thirds of the game seems like it'd make transmission almost inevitable. The first month in the DEL has worked fine-ish though, guess we'll see.

Bubble really isn't feasible for anything longer than we had in the summer. Imagine spending 6 months shuttling between hotel and Rink in Edmonton exclusively surrounded by hockey bros while the league probably isn't even making much money from it.

So Torts has confirmed PLD wants out of Columbus. Why doesn't anyone want to play there? I'm serious btw, I've obviously never been but you don't see players fleeing from Buffalo, Raleigh, St.Louis or even Winnipeg the first chance they get like they seem to from the CBJ.
