I was thinking along those lines, trying to recall a game where he basically took over and delivered. it seems in the past he's had the reputation of not having the talent to come back from a significant deficit. The fumble was bad, and that alone probably ruled out best game ever for me.
And anybody who quotes "yards per attempt" is fairly clueless at using meaningful stats. It's similar to using home run distance per plate appearance, instead of home run distance per home run. Yards per catch + completion % is much more meaningful.
