Is there any chance that Nagy's actually a decent coach? He's gotten the Bears in the playoffs twice with not much at QB (?). Might that be the missing piece for a good team?

I think we all have plenty of evidence of McCarthy's coaching ability though.

This offseason is shaping up to be awesome.

The revelation that DeMaurice Smith is in-effect the owners’ inside man is so far the frosting on the cake.

Expanding to a 17 game season (I’m totally against it but the audacity is impressive)....

First Goff and Wentz getting tossed and now Watson and Wilson demanding trades and it’s only February.....

Counterpoint - it's going to be insufferable for because we're going to have to hear about Watson and Wilson every day for the next six months regardless of whether anything actually happens.

He also suggested player's agents should collude. He is lucky he's so bad at his job, because if he was good the owners would go after him for suggesting that.

Cardinals could win one.

Going to a team like the Chiefs or Bucs because you "want to win" is super lame. You prove nothing showing up somewhere that can do it without you.

That division is gonna be so stacked, any of those teams could go 6-10 if a few things go wrong

Reddick might be gone, not sure but Watt/Jones pass rush is pretty nice

I have to say, JJ Watt sure does look good in red.

I would think that of all the potential teams for JJ to land in the Cards are probably least likely to make a SB run.

I'm assuming you're not applying this to Bardy. I had Bardy as much as the next guy, but his going to the Bucs because he wanted to win was pretty legit, as much as it pains me to say.

I've been in the lab re this year's draft QBs...not watching film, but grinding through data and here are the results.

there have been 9 QBs drafted since 1979 elected to the HoF

Joe Montana
John Elway
Jim Kelly
Troy Aikman
Dan Marino
Steve Young
Kurt Warner
Warren Moon
Peyton Manning

there are four locks who are still playing.

Tom Brady
Ben Roethlisburger
Drew Brees
Aaron Rodgers

for data purposes I will also include a near certainty, despite his age

Pat Mahomes

of the 14 QBs...

11 have a one syllable first name and 3 have a 2 syllable name.

7 have a 2 syllable second name, 3 have a 1 syllable second name, 2 have a 3 syllable second name and the others have ridiculously long and self indulgent second names

Science proves therefore that the ideal QB first name starts with 1 syllable and then has a 2 syllable 2nd name. second best option is a 1 syllable, 1 syllable and third is 2 syllable 2 syllable etc etc.

with this in mind, the 2021 QB draft rankings are

1. Zack Wilson
2= Mac Jones
2= Trey Lance
4. Trevor Lawrence
5. Justin Fields

I believe Buffalo and Cincinnati fans may also approve of this ranking system

adjust that **** for the preferred two and two name 'Patrick Mahomes' so that we can rightfully include the one true goat 'Justin Herbert'.
