That's the thing, it is pretty much always exploding. It took covid crashing revenue and actually reducing the cap to cause a mild inconvenience, otherwise you just push it off dead hits forever.

There is always space to sign someone new at a huge signing bonus with void years and escalating base salary to not feel any significant hit for years.

A lot of what gets reported as "current cap obligations" is unguaranteed base salary that doesn't really exist.

Cooper has the best wit and sense of humor of the three--by far. And less of a filter; perhaps that was a bridge too far for ESPN???

McLovin is right tho. Eli is sharper and has more of a sense of humor than generally acknowledged. I'm looking forward to it.
