Of COURSE LeBron could have been a HOF-caliber TE. From 2011, or even the beginning of his athletic career. His athleticism alone would have gotten him there, let alone the work ethic he's demonstrated through his illustrious basketball career.

Yes he’s a good athlete who is one of the best ever at his sport but come on... it’s indisputable that someone at the age of 27 can start playing a game he hasn’t played since he was 15, make up for all of the technical, skill and knowledge development that he would have missed through those years every player needs as they step up through the ranks to the highest level?

Then miss the first and most likely more productive half of his career, avoid injuries and still achieve enough to do what only 7 or 8 players in the history of the sport have achieved at that position.
