Suprised to find only one pitcher in there 40s and that Pujos is the oldest player at 41. Figured there’d be one middle relief guy in his mid 40s.

i absolutely love how bauer did that, ramped up his spin for a single inning, when asked how he did it post game he said he didn't know but mentioned a fangraphs articles detailing how foreign substances could do it and said "it's a good article"

nothing happened so he and the kyleb said f it we're doing it for the season and again no consequences

Here is someone suggesting it is a toss up between Ted Williams and Ortiz for Boston Mount Rushmore:

Somehow Ortiz is on the same plane as Williams and better than Clemens/Boggs/Pedro of contemporary players?

yeah that's hilarious

he had some huge games though, i can recall a good dozen times watching sox down by 1 and he drives in the winning run in the 8th or 9th etc and i think that combined with his winning personality left a pretty strong mark

orr is considered by many to be among the greatest hockey players ever so again hard lol on him being an alternate on that list

bird/brady/orr/williams are the boston rushmore imo
