reason is they are no longer playing against your team, they are now playing for your country

guaranteed all his games are broadcast in japan and i imagine his starts are among the highest viewed games each week of any league

Great athlete, but not a baseball player. He may be the worst baserunner compared to his speed, ever. Just truly stupid **** like not being able to know when to 1st to 3rd. Or just getting picked off at 1st or 3rd. I'd rather have present day pooholes on first in a big moment than Springer.

I'm not sure, but I think the Players Union nuked all that stuff for this season.
