He and Tom Glavine took turns doing color for the Braves' TV crew. He's an Atlanta native, his best years were here when he was young, and it was a big deal in Atlanta when he made the SI cover.
It was all downhill from there for his career, but he always had an infectious enthusiasm for the game that shines through on the broadcast.
My favorite Braves color guy was always Joe Simpson... best known from his playing days as the guy holding George Brett back from the pine tar incident. He's super knowledgeable, and will call guys out on either team for not hustling, but I think he's retired now.
