Starting Lynn in game one with his track record versus HOU seemed bad and today he pinch hit for Engle which degraded the OF defense badly and was exposed. He also made a few questionable pitching choices and WHERE THE HELL IS KOPECH? Maybe they need him for a start? We don't know how healthy Rodan is right now? But there was definitely a spot for Kopech today and he wasn't anywhere to be found.

Couldn’t justify not going. I’ve seen bonds set the single season record, the all time record, I’ve been to playoff games, World Series games, I watched ishikawa win the pennant

And I would have traded all of it for a giants Dodgers playoff game

Dodgers were 59 runs better this season. That's 2nd biggest disparity of the 4 series.

How come virtually everyone is throwing 98 these days, with a couple of guys hitting 100? Is there a new "performance enhancer" or do they all have "prescriptions"? I mean we are getting velos like back in the steroid era. For example: Charlie Morton gained about 3-4 mph on his fastball since 2015. Don't tell me it's improved technique.

Adding more to the observation: The Rays have back to back starters who throw 100. Yankees-Red Sox featured Cole (98-99) vs. Eovaldi (100). And last night the Red Sox hit 5 bombs while the Giants hit 3. I mean WTF is that? This is like 2007 all over again. The only difference is that they don't like pumped up Hulks these days.
