Suspicious if we are being honest. The hitter should get every benefit of the doubt in that situation. It wasn’t even close. I had no rooting interest in the game but the umps were pure trash all night.

but that last pitch didn't have close to the same impact as that curveball outside to Posey called a strike, and a couple other misses.

That's one of the worst swing overrule calls I've ever seen - playoffs or not. How do you make that call in that spot? If it's close you should err on the side of letting the home plate ump's call stand.

There’s a real good chance Max closes it out if the count goes to 1-2. Flores career 0 for 17 against Scherzer. But disappointing that’s how the game ends and how it will be remembered.

Both Turners somewhat saved they got out of there with a win.

Betts is a stud.

Just take the best 2 and let them switch off eahf game and lay them a bonus

Yea I did but you're talking about teams manufacturing runs in a 2-1 game

The Yankees didnt lose 2-1 very often

Their offense was just as bad in the wild card game as either one of the teams in game 5

The dodgers pitched great they didn't do some amazing job of scoring runs tonight
