I think there are 3 potential choices at 3.

But I'll take the 26 year old who easily won MVP, crushed every advanced stat, and seems to hold his value or even improve in the playoffs. My one concern is that I don't love building around the center position. But when your triple doubles are so wholesome, are you really a center?

I got Joker as 1 of 3 guys I think can go #3. GA and KD are 1,2. He's the hardest of the 3 to build around because he needs a particular player at the 4 but after that you can go any direction you want. No reason to think Joker doesn't come into the season even better like he has the previous two. Getting a 26 year old mvp at 3 can never be bad

Joker is the safest of the players in this tier. He is as durable as they come and smack in the beginning of his prime years. Joker doesn't get the credit he deserves because the best stuff he does is so subtle and doesn't show up in stat sheets. Love his tip touch passes. It takes posters like Seadood to showcase a player like him. Favorite player in the league.

Best shooter in NBA history. Great with the ball but also one of the all time best at getting open without. Any chatter of slowing down was silenced after carrying that team all season and winning the scoring title.

Luka was my 1b with KD. Probably woulda taken Luka 1 because <3 him but KD probably "correct". GA slightly behind and Jokic and Curry the best of the next tier, good picks so far!

I'm a little concerned Luka plateaus or even regresses as a shooter for a season or two. He's gone 33%, 32%, 35% at 8 attempts a game. He takes a ton of difficult shots so he could clean those numbers up a bit just by shot selection. A little bad variance and he could see a season in the 28% range which would make his antics look alot worse. Basically he's real close to the "danger" zone of being a bad 3 pt shooter. Wouldn't surprise me for him to need to have a disappointing season or two before he dedicates himself to better shooting. Still so young anything is possible.
