What do you guys think of my second round FVV pick? I think if I had to do it over I’d go Murray since I ended up shading young anyways. I wasn’t really happy with my options in that spot

Anyways, I don't really care to figure out who stepped over the line first and the most, and it seems like the most likely outcome is you're both completely insane, so I'm banning both of you, and everyone else can get back to basketball.

Joker can make a smart player like FVV reach his highest potential. Teaming Joker with a really good defender can't be wrong. Joker probably provides enough offense in this league to make FVV defense more valuable and Murray's superior offense a little more redundant. Plus taking a teams top 2 is boring.

I would have gone with OG with your second pick. I get the FVV pick though since there were more similar players to OG than there were to FVV rounds 3,4.

Rui looks like a player who could pair really with with Joker as well..

If Cade projects as expected and RJ improves a smidge I really like the versatile defenders you have.

Both teams have 3 stars on massive contracts and then like minimums and exception players otherwise. Totally reasonable that middling teams with lots of decent players on middling contracts would have more picks in this draft

Lesson, as always, is that NBA is a super top heavy. Although feel likes it’s trending away from needing two or three top tier guys after the Miami/GSW decade.

OG was considered as well. I'm not convinced he's that impactful of a player. He didn't make an all defense team, and I doubt he can ever be the kind of wing defender that makes his way into the DPOY conversation. He doesn't really cover for Jokic's rim protection issues either. He's more of a 1 on 1 guy. On offense he doesn't have much of a bag, but he'll hit some open and has the ability to attack the rim on a hard closeout.

Maybe Jerami Grant was the move, but he's another guy who played with Jokic in the past - kind of boring.

I think the FVV pick was fine. I think your major misstep was not taking Larry Nance in the double pick round as he's like a perfect fit with Jokic.

RWB is a complete disaster, Kawhi isn't healthy, Kyrie is Kyrie-ing, the Bucks are beaten up and losing. Not so clear that the better draft teams aren't better than the best teams in the league (meh, taking out the Warriors, I suppose).

IMO, Giannis is in a tier by himself for the next couple of years. Mobley in the 5th is probably the best value pick in the entire deal. DFS stock is way up. LaVert crashing like BTC, but RJax and Al look like they have two more solid years in them. Really well balanced team, only thing missing is a top level wing penetration/creator type, but do you even need that when you have the Freek?

Magnum Mike - Steph/Mikal Bridges/Jarrett Allen/Jalen Green/Jaden McDaniels/ Kyle Kuzma/ Anfernee Simons / Cam Johnson:
This squad looks like this year's Suns with Steph instead of CP3. Basically didn't miss a single pick. Could be the best team if you're high on Jalen Green.

Wittyname26 - Beal/Jaylen Brown/Sabonis/JJJ/Timelord/Sexton/TJ McConnell/Josh Hart:
Sabonis + Timelord + JJJ is one sexy frontline, arrows pointing UP. Jaylen just gets better every year, he'll figure out the "can't dribble at all" thing. Beal is kinda meh as a #1, I'm not totally off of him in a better situation.

GTO2.0 - KAT/SGA/Draymond/Miles Bridges/Bogdan/Garland/Herro/Noel:
Biased, but I think this is the best offense in the draft. Probably collapse defensively in a playoff series but it's bucket city.

Garbage tier:

NWildcat - FRAUDen/Capela/Dejounte/Aaron Gordon/Saddiq Bey/JaSean Tate/Naz Reid/Chuma Okeke:
Tough when your first two picks have terrible years. Dijon Mustard good value, but this team doesn't really look good at anything if Fat James is done.

Cinarocket - Luka/John Collins/Rozier/Johnathan Isaac/Danny Green/Bobby Portis/Coby White/Keldon Johnson:
Meh on everyone besides Luka. Would have been higher on this team before the year, but 2-5 all dropped pretty bad imo.

Charder - Rudy/Jrue/Hayward/Buddy Hield/Marcus Morris/Jae Crowder/Devonte Graham/T Mann:
Solid contender for worst offense. Hayward looks dead, and there's very little creation besides him. Defense would be pretty good, but this is like a 90 PPG roster.

Tchaz - Donovan Mitchell/ORANGE Julius/Mike Conley/Staps/Evan Fournier/Mitch Robinson/Frankie Smokes/POKU:
Sorry, but I think this gets my vote for worst team. Julius crashing even harder than BTC, like LUNA levels of crashing. Conley is done and the Conley/Mitchell backcourt pairing just got torn to shreds by Jalen Brunson. Staps still looking like a statute. Worst D in the draft.
