I never realized Fournette was such a problem for the Jags - i.e. out of shape, not learning the offense, attitude - and they couldn't even trade him to the Raiders.

that RB tweet really is amazing, if only for the fact that none of those other RBs are busts (in fact would be go-to lead backs on most teams if healthy)? wouldnt expect such a high conversion rate on RBs drafted

yea we still in slurp phase. i'm the first to turn & hate on the NFL heir apparent, but KC too fun and too good a story with reid/maholmes. watching maholmes reminds me of that foster wallace article on watching federer

Falcons need a lot of credit for that as much criticism as fanbase gives our front office sometimes

Fournette definitely blows. I watch their games a lot as a fan but their fanbase some of them will tell you his line sucked. It's bullshit, he needs a dump truck hole to run through.

Fournette's rankings in several areas last year for RBs:

1st downs - 56 (7th)
10+ yd runs - 31 (5th)
Yards after contact - 1,056 (5th)
YAC/Att - 3.34 (5th)
Longest run - 81 (3rd)
3rd/4th and 1 - 18 att (3rd), 1st down % 55.6% (13th)

He may not be great, but he certainly doesn't suck.

bulk numbers like that on one of the few running teams in the league don't tell us much
