Re: 2020 NFL off season

Well I mean anything over like $10M is way past the threshold of normie of course

Mahomes is drawing really really slim to being > Brady in any aspect of non-combine-picture life, that's all. Being top 10 would be good I suppose!

No, I've tried to cliff the following but it changes each year almost - essentially after 2023 they will have paid/will have to pay close to everything up to and including 2025.

Quote:
The guarantee structure is as follows. Upon signing Mahomes' 2020, 2021, and 2022 salaries are all guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2021 league year Mahomes' 2023 salary and bonuses will become fully guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2022 league year all of Mahomes 2024 compensation will become fully guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2023 league year Mahomes $38.9 million 2025 roster bonus will become guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2o24 league year the rest of Mahomes' 2025 salary will become guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2025 league year Mahomes $38.9 million 2026 roster bonus will be fully guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2026 league year the rest of Mahomes 2026 salary and his $49.4 million 2027 roster bonus become guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2027 league year the rest of Mahomes' 2027 salary and his entire 2028 salary and bonuses will become fully guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2028 league year Mahomes salary and bonuses in 2029 are guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2029 league year Mahomes' 2030 salary and bonuses are guaranteed. On the 3rd day of the 2030 league year Mahomes $13.9 million 2031 roster bonus is guaranteed.

As a sidenote, DeSean Jackson is posting some obscenely anti-Semitic stuff and is probably going to get himself cut

yep, so effectively even as the deal reaches it's later stages if KC cuts him then they still owe him the following year's $$ (or the majority which will be paid in a roster bonus) even though he can still then sign with another team immediately - so he'll be getting paid full whack for the following season y KC and another team

Actually I don't think so. Now her anxiety is at an all time high. Now the A-List actresses, models, and singers come calling and not sure she is going to get the rose. I'd be shocked if Mahomes put a ring on it.

Clearly you haven't been paying attention to the current political climate. If a white athlete's wife posts anti protester tweets he loses his job but if a black player quotes Hitler about how bad jews are, he doesn't even get a suspension apparently. Espn is reporting that sources are saying he won't face suspension or termination.

What a world we live in.

It's sucks finally being held responsible for one's actions and words, huh? White people have it rough.

I mean it's pretty hilarious that he literally posted "hitler was right the jews are out to get us" and the reaction is that it is merely an "opportunity to educate himself"

Seems a bit tame to me but thats 2020 for you

You mean a world where white people only have most of the power instead of ALL the power? Fire up your time machine and report to your grandparents abt what kind of doom the world is in for- and make it a one way trip

Re: 2020 NFL off season

Mahomes huge contract makes me think of the douche move he did after a TD. Counting on his fingers how many players were taken ahead of him. He should be kissing the butts of all those gms that passed on him. Where would he be if he had been taken by a horrible organization like Cincinnati, Jax, Cleveland, Jets or Chicago? He wouldn't be winning SB's or signing 500M deals that's for sure. All those teams passed so he could go to a team that was pretty damn good already. He should be thankful they all passed it made him the face of the NFL.

That is the one time I thought Mahomes was kind of dickish.

Hopefully all this fame and money doesn't go to his head and that side comes out a lot more.

Hi Grando, fire away.

Hi Grando, fire away.
Nearly half a billion contract + even more in endorsements = he's pretty much a lock to become a huge douchenozzle

It's okay though, lol sports.

It's almost like you forgot how the Eagles also stood by Riley Cooper.

I know, inconvenient facts are inconvenient.
