He was asked a question and he answered it honestly. It wasn't like he just got on twitter and spouted off his opinion. He has two (and likely more) causes, in equality and the military, that he cares a lot about and he isn't going to turn his back on one when he has the choice to support both and not turn his back on one of them.

Why do you think players still want to kneel during the national anthem instead of after TDs, sacks and other big plays? Doing it after big plays guarantees they have every eye and camera on them where during the anthem they won't necessarily be shown on TV.

Why don't players hold their hand over their heart after TDs, sacks and other big plays?

I am not arguing that racism isn't a problem. I am arguing that if the goal is the maximize awareness of an issue you care about why wouldn't you use the time when the most eyeballs are on you to raise awareness for the issue.

Kneeling during the anthem and after a TD would maximize awareness, but if you could only choose to kneel after a TD or during the anthem it seems after a TD would catch more eyeballs.

Because they're trying to bring attention and awareness of racial inequality and police brutality in the USA, seems more appropriate to do this when the anthem of that country is playing instead of after scoring a touchdown to make it a two score game.

What does he do, score the TD, point to the flag and shake his head?

Do you actually think if Kaep ran in a touchdown in week one of the pre-season and kneeled, people would think 'oh he has an issue with this country?' Do you think if that happened it would have got more or less attention than what he actually got when he knelt for the anthem? People kneel after touchdowns all the time for unrelated reasons. And what if he doesn't score a touchdown?

I don't think this would have worked the week kaep got caught pouting on the bench during then anthem or the week after when he knelt during it for the first time. I am saying I think it would work now.

I'm not sure if you have seen it but soccer players in other countries are wearing an undershirt with George's name on it and showing it after goals. It is getting a lot of attention in the much smaller soccer community.

There are around 5 TDs per game plus players could do it after sacks and other big plays so we are talking about 8-15 opportunities per game instead of once before the game when some people haven't even turned their TVs on yet.

An undershirt explicitly delivers a message. Kneeling while the anthem plays explicitly delivers a message. Kneeling after a touchdown: friend or relative passed away, friend or relative is very sick, you're emotional, you are Tim Tebow etc.

Oh man, is that QB kneeling to end the game or does he HATE AMERICA? Is that kick off returner kneeling as he can't see a lane or is he a LEFTIE VIRTUE SIGNALLER?

Has anyone else got any innocuous quotes from their home team bff that they’d like to post to skew the conversation in their direction?

Didn't Brees say "I would never do anything to disrespect the flag."? And shouldn't the response have been that kneelers are not disrespecting the flag? The instant shock reaction made it seem like disrespecting the flag was necessary.

Brees didn't say he wouldn't do it - he said "I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country."

From weeks 6-17 last season, 27 NFL QBs had at least 280 pass attempts. Only two of them threw two or fewer INTs: Drew Brees and Josh Allen, Bitches. 2 each.

I didn't know Josh Allen liked conversion therapy and hated blacks. Seems relevant!

How Much Did the Saints Help the Catholic Church on Its Sex Abuse Crisis? More Than They Admitted
Quote:
But an SI review of case files and public records suggests that the team was significantly more involved in the archdiocese’s response to the sexual abuse crisis than it had acknowledged. When questioned by SI, the Saints conceded that a top executive had advised the Church on PR months before the release of the list, apparently shifting the timeline the team has promoted since January. A lawyer for the team said that, in the summer before the list’s release, Saints senior vice president of communications Greg Bensel advised Archbishop Aymond on general press strategy related to the abuse crisis.
So they lied about multiple elements of this story, sweet offseason

Kraft getting handies from a 50 year old was one thing.
Gayle getting fingered by an alter boy is too much.

best part about kraft is he called up his buddies afterwards to brag about how he went for a massage and they liked him so much they started jerking him and his buddy was telling him "no man you went to a rub n tug" and he refused to believe that
