No Curtis Martin either. The mike alstott is the funniest part though. It's like a spliced in dick pic in a Disney movie.

Since these guys never played, they're less critical of the real athletes. They tend to err on the side of lenient.

What makes you think a statistician does it? Just because they end up analysing the data doesn't mean they actually gather it. That's probably a super low paying job.

Two reasons.

They need to be able to chart and enter the data in some kind of discernable way.

Also, it seems like guys drop way more passes then they are credited with. Someone who played will more likely be more accurate with their analysis.
