It works kind of like PEEHS but each question only has one answer. Each question is worth 10 points shared among who gets it right. So if lots of people get the question right it is worth less points per correct answer.

Example questions.

1) Who starts at QB Week 1 for the Chargers
2) Who does Rivers sign for for 2020 (can pick retirement)
3) What is the AAV for Bradys next contract rounded to nearest Million.
4) Who does Tua play for next year.
5) Who will the NFL pick to play against the Chiefs week 1

And so on with the last questions being about week 1 of the NFL season.

All answers answered in next few weeks before FA starts.

Let me know if keen and if enough interest I will run it.
I'd do it under the same conditions as Rick.

I don't think Belichick has loyalty to anyone, not even Brady. If he wants to coach and feels Brady is not worth the $30 million, I think he's happy to move on without him in NE.

Only issue is that Kraft seems to want Brady to retire a Pat, so maybe he has no choice in the matter.

Brees has announced he's returning to the Saints for 2020.

I think it's funny that the Saints insist Taysom Hill can be a franchise QB when he's already 29 & can't throw <shrug>

They let him throw it 1x when Brees was down 5 games. They return kicks with the guy. They don't view him as a franchise QB.

Yeah, looking at it more, it seems to be Hill's camp spinning it that way, & not the Saints. Which makes more sense, unless the Saints think they can use his RFA rights to get some trade compensation or something.

That long completion be made in the playoffs may have raised his expectations somewhat

They don't even trust him to be the back-up, so doubt they would ever trust him to be the starter.

Is Teddy B going to get a shot somewhere this year? I mean **** the Bears and all, but Chicago has to sign him and hand him the starting job right?

You know where he would be really good? Tampa. He has those receivers and a reasonable defense and wont make all the idiot blunders Winston does. Going from 30 picks to 15 would be a huge upgrade

Not really an off-season topic but was having a conversation with a friend today about who would be on the Mt Rushmore of NFL players.

Our best group was...

Tom Brady
Reggie White
Jerry Rice
Jim Brown

Thoughts?

I think I'd replace Reggie White with LT, or maybe Butkus if I was older.

Could even consider Ditka for the lifetime achievement career arc award. HOF coach AND player, to say nothing of his media career.

Tom Brady and Jerry Rice absolutely belong.

I love Jim Brown, but there have been so many supremely talented RB's over the years that Brown doesn't dominate the position group's historical body of work as thoroughly as Brady and Rice have.

Brown was unbelievably dominant and then retired young.

YA Title, Otto Graham, and Thorpe/Grange/Nagurski are also worthy of being there from the old guard. Someone should represent them, Brown is def it. Unitas would've been on there if it was made in the 80s.

Montana is the guy Brady replaced.

Butkus is a good call, but maybe Ray Lewis over him. LT was who came to mind, but MLB is good as it's the QB of the defense. Ronnie Lott could be considered from safety I guess. Guys like Lott and Rod Woodson don't really seem to represent the whole of the NFL tho, not great enough. Polamalu was the biggest playmaker I've ever seen at S.

3× AP NFL Most Valuable Player (1957, 1958, 1965)
Nobody has those kinds of accolades at rb.

eta: Payton, Emmitt, and Barry are close; only one MVP a piece tho.

My argument for LT is he's the biggest single player change from what LB's did before he played, to what all they do now since he's innovated at the position.
