The NBA has 16 that make it but only 3 teams realistically have a shot to win it. It seems more like the NHL where there's more parity. 8-seeds have won it like in the NFL where 6-seeds have won it. In the NBA, seems like only 1- and 2-seeds have ever won it.

Lots more good teams will rest players in Game #17. One seed locked up, no awesome advantage if you are seed 2-4.

A 2 seed easily can lose to a 7 seed. Or at least not have that week of rest which is huge.

I think the correct play for Titans would have been to shop Tannehill and use the Tannehill performance to lowball Mariota.
