What better way to start it off then brady to Dallas rumors

From Irvin: “I am telling you right now, at the Super Bowl in Miami, some very significant people that I had conversations (with were) leaning in that same direction. It was shocking. I had a vodka cranberry in my hand and when they said it to me I put the drink down and said, ‘Let’s talk a little bit more about this.’

I would love to see Brady in a Cowboys uniform.

Even as someone from Massachusetts who's a lifelong fan, I can't help but think I'd be watching a whole lot more football next year if that happened.

so many points of interest to me...

all the QB intrigue

Dak contract
Mahomie contract
DeShaun contract

Brady
Brees
Rivers
Bridgewater
Jameis
Dalton
Tannehill
Mariota
what do the Panthers do with Cam?
what does Oakland do with Carr?

looking forward to the draft and hoping my boy Tu'a finds a good home

then I'm interested in what happens with the RB market this offseason.

not only is Derrick Henry (and finally Melvin Gordon) a free agent, but McCaffrey, Cook, Mixon, Fournette, Kamara, Aaron Jones, Ekeler, Chris Carson are all now eligible for extensions for the first time.

while we all like to 'lol RB contracts' at least a few of those guys are gonna hold out and it'll be really interesting to see how their teams respond.

also interested to see what happens with Clowney as a FA, as well as how Dallas manages to pay Dak, Amari and Byron Jones or if Jones hits free agency, in which case I expect him to break the CB ceiling.

I can't believe brady wants to play for fat mike and be micromanaged by skeletor. he's too old for that crap.

I'd give my middle nut for the Giants to sign Teddy Bridgewater and trade Daniel Jones for a dishwasher.

The guy can flat out PLAY.

He's a GAMER.

Predictions:

Dak's getting paid (by the Cowboys)
Brady's staying
lolTannehill scams Tennessee for a 2 year deal.

I read a Ringer article today saying that Henry has told the Titans that the floor for his deal is $50m over the first 4 years of his deal....

yikes!

with the franchise tag predicted to be $10.5, I think I'd rather franchise him twice....only issue is whether he'd show up in week 1 or not

Forgot my hottest take:

Cam to the Chargers

Surely they’ll keep Cam at the Panthers. He’s only $19m and even if they let him go at the end of the year they’ll likely get a compensatory 3rd when he signs somewhere else

As would plenty of Eagles+Giants fans.

Next best scenario would be Dallas breaks the bank for Dak.

Unfortunately it looks like Dallas is still trying to pay Dak what he's worth, and the Brady rumors are consistent with that scenario <shrug>

I might do another QB carousel game, but probably not.

Former undrafted free agent Matthew Cherry, who bounced around a few teams a while ago, won an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film yesterday leading to this awesome tweet

Why would any team want Rivers or Brady week 1? They aren't long term solutions and most teams have better options at better prices (Dak, Tannehill, draft picks, cheap Cam even). Chicago maybe the exception.

Would almost be better for either to be free agents till end of September and see if someone shreds a knee.
