I notice AdvoCare supposedly stopped being an MLM pyramid scheme last year under government settlement. Did that actually happen or did they just reform their ways to keep their MLM shenanigans going in a less blatant way?

I see a possibility the NFL doesnt even get off the ground, sadly.

They have 4 times the personnel as mlb and look at them, they are screwed. Thinking about the chance winter simply becomes "covid season" (as I've heard I dont know the validity of it) makes me wonder about football. I know it's a depressing thought but Itll be difficult to keep everyone safe-at least for this year.

If you think the NFL is screwed (which I think it is) and MLB is barely hanging on, and everyone involved is paid, then whats your take on NCAA football? More players, more teams, unpaid players, and college kids who have no fears of the corona. People are being so ignorant thinking that there will be a season. There is also college fans who are wanting to be in the stands for games. #idiots

I don't see how NFL football gets going. If it does, I expect it to be rookies/second-tier players who see this as their opportunity to make their mark--the players who have their money will continue to opt out.

As for the NCAA, I saw an interview with Bob Costas the other day. He made the point that it's unconscionable of the NCAA to even consider a season. Professionals at least have made a (hopefully) informed choice to opt for the money vs potentially their health. College-level athletes have no such option.

Unless a student athlete (SA) has a condition that makes them vulnerable to covid I think colleges should be able to opt out of paying the SA thousands of dollars in tuition, rent and food if the SA opts out of their sport.

Not a surprise as it would just create a huge cluster**** for season ticket holders about who does and who doesn't get to see which games. Less lawsuits if you just say no fans.
