yep, so effectively even as the deal reaches it's later stages if KC cuts him then they still owe him the following year's $$ (or the majority which will be paid in a roster bonus) even though he can still then sign with another team immediately - so he'll be getting paid full whack for the following season y KC and another team

Clearly you haven't been paying attention to the current political climate. If a white athlete's wife posts anti protester tweets he loses his job but if a black player quotes Hitler about how bad jews are, he doesn't even get a suspension apparently. Espn is reporting that sources are saying he won't face suspension or termination.

Mahomes huge contract makes me think of the douche move he did after a TD. Counting on his fingers how many players were taken ahead of him. He should be kissing the butts of all those gms that passed on him. Where would he be if he had been taken by a horrible organization like Cincinnati, Jax, Cleveland, Jets or Chicago? He wouldn't be winning SB's or signing 500M deals that's for sure. All those teams passed so he could go to a team that was pretty damn good already. He should be thankful they all passed it made him the face of the NFL.

There are times ignorance shows and we need to give someone a proper chance to be educated, and there are times like a 35 year old man quoting the most notoriously hateful war criminal modern history has ever seen. He should know better as what he is doing comes off as malicious and is meant to be divisive. If they released him I wouldnt bat an eye and I have a higher tolerance than most about this stuff presently.

And yea, I agree cooper would likely be fired today.
