They have a much better goal difference than PSG, if this had ended 1-2 it would have been completely in their hands.

Or am I misunderstanding the rules?
Nope you’re completely spot on.

Also RB need to win.

Completely ****ed the group up with that embarrassment away from home after the two wins.

I feel like that Marquinos goal would have been ruled offsides in the PL

Giroud has maybe the best decade of a non world class player.
From being 25 and playing for Montpellier to where he is now is incredible.

They would’ve been playing against 10 men for a lot longer in the PL

And he started of at Ligue 2 Grenoble at 21, an age where it seems nowadays players are already beyond hyped up. He's worked his ass off for everything he's gotten, and his career highlights/goal compilations are already insane. People are aren't going to believe he spent most of his career relatively unwanted/unappreciated.

On the flip side, Martial doesn't look like he gives a **** at all anymore. Same with Pogba. What's going on here?

Giroud is a weird one, I’ve grown to really like him. He’s class at what he does. He’s never [was] going to be the main man a “big club” but what he does is brilliant.

It’s quite incredible as well that he probably becomes Frances leading scorer.

Martial just needs a goal, he just can’t score. Pogba on the other hand who knows, just a massive disappointment that everyone is now bored of. He’s never done it at United people are getting bored defending him as well. I don’t know what happens to him. No one who can afford him would want him. Surely?

PSG maybe tricked into getting him

Not many players in the league tough to hate. I'd put Milner up there as well.

It’s fun watching players like him work their asses off and carve out an damned fine career when they weren’t wonderkids or anything like that. It shows that sometimes the ball does break your way if you work your ass off to make yourself better at whatever you choose to do

Giroud playing for Tours at 24 is really the weird one imo, Montpellier is a decent Ligue1 club and not being spotted at 21 is not that uncommon.

Deschamps GOAT btw, dude got shat on for his player choices at the 2018 WC but time gave him reason on every one of them.

I'd be hella fine with Pogba, you just need a stud Defensive mid next to him to carry the water.

What do you think going into the Euros next year? I think France might be stuck going with the 2018 group again and too many of them just haven't been on form since (Pogba, Kante, Griezz).

Really like Portugal at 16/1, shame they also might not get out of the group.

he's been playing every 3 days for 3 months straight it feels like and with no midfield 99% of the time. He doesn't look as sharp right now but nothing worrying imo

+1 for Milner. He’s the #1

Bearing in mind he’s played for Man Utd’s 3 biggest rivals, Leeds, City and Liverpool, I don’t see any hate from Man Utd fans.

He’s not really been great for France either has he? Although that’s just purely down to word of mouth as I’ve not seen much of France in the last year or so.

He’s not even looking decent against the midfield of say Brighton. If he leaves it’ll give him a fresh start and hopefully he’d get near to his best. He’s a long long way off though and rarely is ever seen in a United shirt.

Agree with you regarding France no way with that much talent you don’t do anything. No other squad gets near it and most are interchangeable as well.

Giroud to over take Henry’s record at the euros would be awesome after not scoring at the WC.

That would be devastating for football fans. Surely he wouldn’t go there. He wouldn’t even get rid of the tag of it being able to do it in a different league either.

Either stay at Barca, go reunite the rivalry with Ronaldo, even go reunite with Pep!

It’d be awesome if he went to say a BvB and turned them into league winners.

Will be interesting to see what Pogba is post United, doesn't seem like he has wanted to be there from pretty much the moment he signed.

And obviously Messi should come play alongside Mbappe, Salah, Mane, Jota and Firmino in Liverpools front 6 next year

I really liked the France squad two years ago, bet on them pretournament. They're in the same group as Portugal and Germany. If Pogba/Kante don't perform, they might not make it out of the group.

German have been poor for ages though.

It’s too early to make definitive predictions because of injures but as things stand if it was played tomorrow Portugal and France are going through. Even with home advantage.

Curious to know how many would play Martial over Giroud, I certainly wouldn’t. Griezmann and Giroud to fire them to glory
