My only correct prediction from the OP are the LOLFERRARI's.

HAM-VER-BOT is still possible, but I don't think it will happen.

Sergio Perez is going to leave Racing Point. Who will we get back?

Vettel

I'm not sure this is a good move by Racing Point. It will have been costly to break Perez' contract and Vettel is an expensive driver. Maybe he brings more sponsors, I don't know.

Vettel is a more interesting driver for the fans for sure. Perez is a gray mouse in the pack

I think Stroll Snr is happy to foot the bill both as Vettel being a more expensive driver than Perez but also to pay out Perez's contract.

Alonso ==> Ricciardo ==> Sainz ==> Vettel ==> Pérez

Effectively Alonso in, Pérez out.

We have now two competent experienced drivers sidelined in Hulk and Perez and a bunch of drivers that might lose their seat on the grid: Giovinazzi, Raikkonnen, Latifi, Magnussen and Grosjean.

I suppose Mick Schumacher will be entering if anyone moves from Alfa Romeo. I have limited expectations for Schumacher jr. Took him far too long to make it to F1 to be a game changer.

You're missing Kvyat who's likely to be gone. He'll be replaced by Tsunoda if he finishes in the top 4 of F2, which would give him the superlicence points he needs. He's in Marko's program and backed by Honda so hard to see them not going with him. If he doesn't get the points then Liam Lawson might have a shot to make it straight from F3.

If Mick goes to Alfa Romeo then I'm guessing they'll try to keep Kimi just to have a veteran driver around. It would have made sense for them to be agressively scrambling for Vettel's replacement but now that Ferrari is set on their drivers there's no real urgency for the 2nd team to be in yolo mode.

Mick is good and it's a little harsh to claim an extra year of F2 being "far too long", he's consistent and seems to be absolutely elite at starts while qualis definitely need some work. He's 100% to underdeliver the insane expectations that people will put on him so you're kinda right. The current F2 band is insanely good and there's like 5+ drivers who all deserve a shot in F1 so it's extremely competitive.

Haas is considering among close to 10 drivers. They seem like a bunch of wankers who don't really have a clue. Maybe something like one of Hülk/Perez with a Ferrari affiliated rookie, most likely between Illot/Shwartzman.

Latifi is already under contract for 2021.

Bringing Alonso back is crazy, not sure what they're paying him or what he might be bringing in but hard to see everyone involved not regretting this move.

Perez brings so much Slim money not to have a seat next year. Haas should be interested.

Doubt Slim will want to do business with Haas again after Haas dumped his driver in Nascar mid season while still pocketing the sponsor money. Also Perez appears to not have had a solid contract for next year. RP had the option to dump him.

Didn't watch the race but saw some clips of the pileup.

That was mad scary. Sainz probably owes his life to the halo.

They should just force everyone to drive like Raikonen maintaining a safe distance.

Wouldn't that only hurt the less engine powered teams as they could find themselves behind a Williams for longer than what they used to be or should be.

Would lead to so much controversy. Ham trying to lap Gas and Gas fighting as hard as possible and then letting Ver through without a fight. Engine suppliers telling their customers to let them through.

Daniel Ricciardo is the man. I liked him already, but my appreciation and admiration has gone up significantly after Sochi.

He ran off track when he overtook Ocon (this overtake was team-orchestrated) and got a 5s penalty. When he was informed of that he didn't whine, but said: Sorry about that, I'll drive faster.
FIA has shown data that actually demonstrates this to be true, the avg speed before and after this message went up from 206 to 210 km/h.
He also overtook Vettel in like 1.2 rounds while Ocon was stuck behind Vettel for significant rounds.

Honda leaving is bad news for F1. I can see RedBull pulling out as well if they again have to go back to Renault engines.

Nah they will get along again out of necessity with redbull needing an engine supplier and Renault needing a customer to off-set costs.

No way Red Bull pulls out.

They made money (barely but still) in 2019. With regs as they are, costs will be lower next year. 2020 is just generally a screwed year and it's unlikely they'll withdraw even if they lose money this year.

As I said at the start of the season, I think you will find that is mostly because of COVID and the disruptions to the Maranello factory and being able to sort an engine out that was found to be in breach of the rules last year.

The qualification was pretty epic. With Max this close behind Mercedes in Q, it should be an interesting race

Hopeful news for Hülkenberg and Pérez.

One of them and one rookie for Haas next year?
