It isn't a really fair classification. They should dish out numbers based on who was to blame.

For example, the Verstappen incidents I remember:
Baku puncture and accident = Nobody's fault (Pirelli's)
Silverstone 51G crash = Hamilton's fault
Hungary massive chassis damage = Bottas' fault
Monza putting his car on top of Hamilton = Max' fault
Saudi Arabia clipping the wall = Max's fault

That's 80-90% of the damage not caused by driver himself

He never reached a speed fast enough for his spins to cause any damage other than getting beached.

But also was usually so far back in the field that he wasn't at risk of hitting anyone else. Luckily for them.

i watch the 8 min YT highlight vids of races but don't follow the sport closely. i did catch the last 5 laps of last year's final race and was like wtf is going on here... is this a legit sport or the WWE on wheels?

To be fair, there aren't all that many races where the 8 min highlights aren't enough to cover all the key events, but races are quite short anyway so it isn't too much time investment to watch them all.

I'll likely be in Istanbul, so hoping to catch them all live for once since I'll be in a decent timezone for most of them. Of course they knocked the Istanbul race off the schedule which blows.
