Hamilton didn't win Hungary GP. But he won big in Hungary.

Even Vettel's DSQ widened Hamilton's lead by two points. Max and Perez are both on 3rd engines wand will likely be forced to take a 10 place penalty at some point so Hamilton's lead is bigger than it looks.

FIA better be thinking about rule changes/clarifications. Hamilton and Bottas, in very tangible ways, got rewarded big time for shitty/dangerous driving.

if this isnt the god's honest crystal truth, then i dont know what is. the rulebook has become so cumbersome and bloated, it reminds me of the beginning of the nfl's replay era. the era that for me ended my interest in that sport. im sure we are all looking forward to next year, but f1 needs to do some real soul-searching. far too many steward inquiries each race, and they have just become normalized. the penalties are all over the board (bot). all the ridiculous little rules that have to be followed by the letter of the law (vet). THATS JUST THIS ONE RACE!!!

4 weeks as always, the Belgian GP is on 29/8. Don't see why the summer break would/should be cancelled this year.

if anyone has some interest, there is a brand new street race this weekend for INDYCAR in nashville, tn. i wanted to attend, but the price and rules make it just not worth while. excited for a new event though.

ot again: nashville indycar in about 3 hours. this will be one to watch, its gonna be bonkers.

mclaren did announce today a 75% purchase of the indycar team they are current partners in. i guess thats slightly f1 related.

It wasn't aquaplaning that caused that crash so not sure if you can put the blame on race control starting the session too early. They should have waited longer but Lando messed up as well.
