We're almost certainly interested, like every other big club is, it's just that we probably know he's barca bound and don't like Raiola using our name to pressure barca. Hence the "United rule out De Ligt bid" line.

We need De ligt way more than Barca do and our offer should reflect that, just slap 80-90m in front of Ajax and hand him 13m a year in wages. Barca don't have the finances to just mop up all the elite talent around the world when we print money.

At a minimum we should force Barca into paying that type of money for him which will weaken them for future transfers.

Coutinho ,Malcom , Cillessen ,Umtiti, Rakitic all seem to be being talked about as wanting to be moved on by Barca. That gets you a fair way towards the incoming guys

It's safe to assume we have the transfer funds from Dembele, plus what we sell Eriksen, Tripper, Janssen, Toby and 1-2 other squad players for - so probably between £150-200m.

I'd also guess a proportion of our net profits would probably be available - it would be incredibly short-sighted to just pay off the stadium as quickly as possible while ignoring the immediate needs of the team (i.e., what Arsenal did).

Doubt Lester keep Tielemans. Think any of the top 6 would take him as a squad player, and I think he starts for most of them.

I think whoever stumps up the most cash will get him tbh but can't see going to Arsenal, Chelsea or City - one can't sign anyone/has RLC and Barkley in the same position, City don't need him really, they have Silva/B.Silva/KDB/Gundo, Arsenal likely can't afford him.

Spurs would be a likely place for him to end up. United may just throw double what anyone else is paying for him.

Leicester are building a decent little squad. If they can make him permanent and add a striker to eventually replace Vardy/strengthen a few other position's I do not see why he wouldn't want to go there.
